V2Pro Upgrade Kit (Currently Sold Out)

That was easy!! Watched the videos a few times. Read through the instructions enough times to be able to identify each of the parts and steps once the box arrived. The install took about 40 minutes on my ClicGear 3.5. I can't believe how much easier it is to set up and tear down now. Plus the motor now stays flat and stable during operation, no more twisting when I press the go buttons. And no more rattle from the old wheelie wheels. I've used my V2 hard over the last 3+ years. The axles had begun to sag a bit when extended. Bonus, the stiffeners work, no more sag.

This was just a replacement for a defective Item. It was sent promptly which I appreciate.

Several screws were missing, i had to replace with screws from the hardware store. The new wheelies sometimes don't stayed locked in place. other than those things I like how it works.

This upgrade is such a game changer! I'm a girl and I thought it was easy and fun to put together. All the parts are high quality. None of the screws stripped. It's so much easier to set up and this makes me love the V2 even more! No more scraped knuckles setting it up! Set up is so easy now! My golf buddies will no longer have to wait for me while I'm setting up my cart. So happy! Thank you!

Love my Alphard V2 and my wife started to use so I had to buy her one! The upgrade was easy and as a result, it is easier to assemble at the course and a quieter ride.

The v2 pro speed lock elevate the game to a brand new level. Way more stable run I recommend highly

Kit arrived well packed, with small tear in the plastic bag holding screws, and nut. Perhaps use a heavier bag or wrap it in bubble wrap. Instructions were easy to follow. It is so much easier to put togethor and take apart my cart now. I would never go back to the old way.

Directions to assemble were a little nebulous. I think a posted video showing the steps would be better than the paper instructions. However, once installed it is a great improvement. So much easier to lock into the push cart with simple rotation of the wheelie legs. Much more stable when going up steep hills and also going down side hills. Thanks

This attachment makes the process of assembling the V2 so much more efficient. It does however add a bit more weight to the battery when lifting it. However the benefits far outweigh the added weight.

Wow!! Wow!!! Wow!! What a great upgrade. My prep time getting my cart ready has decreased tremendously. Installation was relatively easy. Whoever came up with this idea should get a nice bonus !! Keep the upgrades coming.

Instructions were navicable but could have been a little more concise. Bage with hardware needed to be better secured. The end justifies the means.

First of all, the V2 has been life changing for me. Before I got it, I could not play 2 days in a row as my lower back would be in pain from pushing my cart. Since I got the V2, I no longer have any back pain after playing a round. Plus, since I got the new add on wheelees, I no longer have to bend over to lock my cart to the V2. And, as always, the Customer Service at Alphard is without comparison. It’s the best!

Much quicker getting set up. Not sure if like all the plastic parts. Time will tell. Leggs are a bit wobbly but work ok. Cheers. Tom.

Squeaks, rattles and makes all kinds of noise. Great idea. Poor execution. Honestly trying to decide if its worth keeping or switch back.

The V2 Pro is the bomb!! Compared to the original design, this is a fantastic improvement. I made a video showing how fast I can go from folded up to ready to go. I showed the two marks that I have made in the extension arms to know how far out they need to go in order to mount the cart. It’s that easy for me. Thank you. Sure the parts bag was broken and all the parts were spread throughout the box. I was lucky that all of the parts were still within the boxes. The directions could have been a bit better, the details about when to tighten and or loosen screws would have made a difference. I am mechanical so I was able to figure it out and opted when it made a difference. How items lined up before tightening everything made a difference. With all that said, it is a fantastic improvement from the original. I appreciate that the company is making improvements, I am very happy with everything I have gotten except for the sidekick. I rather use my original hand remote. Thanks again, and keep up the great work, an look forward to what is next.

Love it. It's a little difficult to install the mounts onto the motor axle due to the small screws, but just be careful and patient.

Excited about the kit itself. Unfortunately, I didn't receive all of the hardware and Alphard was completely unresponsive in trying to get it resolved. I was able to get the needed parts at a local hardware store at my own additional time and expense. Really disappointed in the lack of communication.

Easy to install, although, as others have said, the parts bag had broken open so they were spread all over. I love the ease of set up and take down with the new system. Keep innovating! I love the Alphard product.

I just installed it yesterday and that went well. A few of the small screws do not tighten properly into the legs of the V2. I haven’t tried it out on the course yet but as soon as I do, I’ll let you know if I have any problems. Regards, Rick.

Package arrived sealed up very well. Which is a good thing as the parts bag for washers, screws, etc was ripped open and parts were all over the inside of the box. Just completed the build on Sunday 04.20. I found the instructions to be confusing, but managed it well enough. The work took longer than anticipated. I wonder about the ground clearance since the new wheels are attached to the bottom of the axle. It worked pretty well in my yard, but did get hung up on some of the transition areas. I really like the newer system. I hope that the clips work better than previous as the wheels would not stay in the up position, which made it a bit of an eye-sore and noisy. I will get my first opportunity to use it this week.

Makes setting up/taking down much easier. Eliminated the greasy fingers from adding/removing the wheelie-bars!! No more wheelie bars coming out of Y clamps & trying to create methods to keep them in place!!

Product is ok once it’s on. It doesn’t let the wheels collapse all the way. The only bad part is I got an email about it I purchased it and it took 3+ months to get it. Contact email took a week to respond to my issue. Other than that it’s great

I love it. Makes it easier to disassemble and assemble. Would like to say I was missing the washers for the stoppers. Also there needs to be a step to let people know to only start the small screws for the new brackets for the wheelies until you get the four screws started for the wheelie brackets. Makes it easier to get them lined back up and started. Then tighten everything up.

Easy upgrade to install with added benefit of protecting the axles from wear. Works great with my Clicgear cart and assembles so much faster and easier in the parking lot. Has not changed the performance on the course which is a good thing. Would recommend upgrading.

The kit was easy to install and is certainly a nice upgrade. My only issue was that the screws/parts were loose in both kits and a pain to find in the box. The bag/s in both kits that held the parts had holes in them, this screws and bolts all over the boxes.

The V2 pro conversion kit is really a game changer for this cart. Installation was pretty simple, and I was able to install it in about 30 minutes. Now attaching the motor to my cart and taking it off just takes seconds, I really do love it. The only negative I have is that the small parts bag tore apart in the bag and it was hard locating all the little pieces. This happened with the 2 units I purchased and the same happened with three of my friends kits. The company needs to use a better container for the small parts.

While I really like my Alphard V2 Pro system, it was somewhat of a hassle putting things together and disassembling before and after a round. I jumped on purchasing the V2 Upgrade kit when it was announced and am very glad that I did. It was pretty easy to install and works like a charm! Not only is it much, much easier to prep for a round, I no longer have to worry about the wheelie bars occasionally coming loose from the brackets. I highly recommend owners of the original system to consider and purchase this upgrade. You'll spend less time putting your cart together and more time enjoying your round.

Installation was not to difficult, however all videos show the work being done with a bike stand which would greatly ease the work, but exactly none of us have one. A very common complaint happened to me as well with the parts bag falling apart scattering tiny nuts, bolts and washers throughout the box. I had to tear the box apart to find them all. Once installed, it works great, but I am concerned about the lowering of the ground clearance. The unit is already to low to go over some on course curbs, scrapping the unit. Keep the innovation coming

Some of the screws are too small and stripped out easily, made installation frustrating.

I love how it makes it so much easier to put together! The cart is still solid! I don't get the twisting when it starts out! It takes up more room in my trunk, but the upgrade is worth it!

The kit came missing the hardware, so haven’t been able to install it. I’ve reached out to support over a week ago and still haven’t heard back.

Recently received the V2Pro Upgrade Kit. Installation was painless and love how easy it connects and disconnects to my CliqGear cart. Would recommend.

Fairly easy to install once I enlarged the photos on Facebook so I could actually see what I needed to do. Much quicker and easier to setup and takedown at the golf course.

As with most directions these days it was hard to identify the right screws The second one was simple Plus the wheelie bars were assembled and the directions showed it as 2 pieces So I had to take the bottom off before I could attach to axel But once completed it seems like it will be far easier to use plus no more rubber to replace

Smal piece parts were adrift in the box, not packed very well. One missing washer that I will find at the local hardware store. Instructions were clear enough. Once assembled the kit worked fine.

This upgrade kit is wonderful. No more pads wearing out, rattling wheels, no more wheeley bars dropping out of their clamps AND it is so much quicker to assemble at the course. Huge improvement!

Works great, saves some time and easier than the stock system.

Once installed it was great. Packaging was decent but the bag of screws and washer was ripped and pieces were all over the box. Fortunately I found all but one small washer but luckily I found one that almost fit in my own collection. Instructions was a bit puzzling when installing the metal pieces with 4 options. Had to do it 3 or 4 times before deciding a certain way but I am unsure if it’s correct. This is why I put only 4 stars. I used it once already and way better and quicker plus less noisy than the original wheels.

Upgrade improves the overall design. Much simpler and less parts to mess with. Seems like it will last longer, and break down less.

Much improved with the V2 Pro Upgrade Kit. Much easier and faster to load and unload the cart on. Very stable and quieter.

Instructions could be clearer. I think it would help if the parts were individually wrapped, identified and referenced in the instructions. If you’re short on storage space in your vehicle be aware that the wheels will not collapse into the battery housing as much as before. As far as functionality, my wheelies tend to not stay locked in the position they should.

There were a few challenging moments,but overall the upgrade went well.

Makes setup quick and easy!

The hardware is an issue. Bag opened and there were parts everywhere. There were missing washers and screws. And the m3 screw Philips head is very delicate and easily stripped. I went and bought a hex head set from a local hardware store as well as the missing washers. As far as the V2Pro itself…very nice and love the concept. Hardware issue tainted it for me.

My 11 year old grandson and I enjoyed doing the V2 Pro Upgrade. I had read others horror stories so I was a little apprehensive about starting the upgrade. The process was not as hard as some made it out to be. I love how quickly I can set up and then take down again. I've only played three rounds with the upgrade. So far I love it.

The upgrade makes it easier to attach the wheel base to the push cart.

Took about an hour to add to my OMNI cart. Works great! Saves so much time setting up for a round.

This upgrade is definitely worth it. No need to bend down and remove wheelie bars and deal with tightening clamps or wheelie bars dropping down. Just an easy push with your foot and the V2 is ready to go. Also the V2 runs more smoothly and quieter. Setup and takedown takes a minute!

Very happy with my Alphard Club Booster V2 Pro conversion. Makes setup and take down quick and so much easier. . Works great with my Rovic RV1S. Really makes walking 18 holes a pleasure!

Thanks to Customer support, I got pass one bump in the road. Great support and even GREATER product. Lot easier to set up and GO.

Difficult to install because screws for the axle brackets are very small with small threads. Once installed, the new design works well with the wheelies folding under the battery.

Overall love the upgrade, only issue was figuring out what pieces went to my cart, needs to to be a little clearer.

The V2Pro upgrade kit works great! So much easier and quicker to assemble and disassemble at the course. No more under-tightened or over-tightened clamps. The small hardware was all over the box, but luckily all there - need to fix the small hardware bag security issues.

Took about an hour to retro-fit the new kit. Easier on and off when setting up the cart for golf but only used it about 10 times; it'll take a while to see the long term benefits, but so far, very happy.

Definitely an upgrade in terms of simplifying the set up process of the push cart before playing a round of golf. It also makes the cart sturdier with the clamp design causing less rattling noises then the older version design, overall a nice addition to my V2 push cart. The only problem is that I purchased one of the Alphard transport cases and since the wheels stick out further with the clamp design the unit no longer fits in the case and the installation process is a bit cumbersome.

Box appeared to have been opened and resealed. Parts were everywhere! I had to make a visit to a hardware store to buy replacement parts (less than $3 worth) for the items that spilled out onto the garage floor after I opened the box. Small plastic bag containing the hardware had a rip in it. I finished installing the kit late yesterday — and it snowed overnight in Northern Colorado — so no chance to use it yet.

This upgrade makes setup and breakdown so much easier. So glad I got this upgrade.

The upgrade is very worth the effort. It makes getting your cart ready for the round a snap. Very nice design.

Not much more can say other than what took so long

While I had little trouble installing the upgrade, the instructions were a little confusing and I did not receive all of the correct size washers. Using it is awesome compared to the old clamp style. I have noticed that the bars will vibrate loose as the cart travels along.

Great upgrade to my already loved v2

The new system upgrade is fantastic! We live on the golf course but not real close to the club house or first tee. With this upgrade we can now load the fully collapsed cart and detached motor over in our full sized electric Club Car, park it and assemble the Alphhard in minutes to go to the tee. Love it! Kind of a pain installing. Instructions aren’t great but I managed. Missing a couple washers in the kit too. Once assembled it’s great! I was concerned about the length of the wheelie bars, but no problem in action. Nice upgrade!

My cart is a Caddy Tek Caddylite V8. The spacers that fit were the #3 and #4 together. I ended up cutting the #3 spacers to 61 centimeters each and they fit perfectly. I didn't feel the instructions were very easy to follow. Seems as though there could be better pictures. All that said, this is a terrific upgrade!! I've sung the praises of this cart having had a couple other brands in the past. My only complaint was the setup and take down. This upgrade has fixed that problem dramatically. I can get set up before my playing partners can get a motorized cart ready!

This is a must upgrade for the current V2 owners! So much easier to breakdown and put the cart back on. It also rides a lot smoother. This thing goes up the hills easily and it doesn't tilt over like before. I love it!!

I have had my V2 since I was one of the kickstarter buyers. Installing the V2 Pro upgrade is a significant game changer. It is significantly easier to set up and take down, and it is smoother on the course. Thank you Alex!

Fairly straightforward change out and much improved on the stability and ease of attaching and removing. They all complain as the wheels do run a little lower, which makes going on and off curbs slightly more difficult. The shipping option with USPS is my only complaint. They are terrible. Would rather pay a few more bucks and have FedEx or UPS get the item much quicker.

I love how easy it is to attach the wheels to the cart. 2 small negatives. The electric wheel assembly when detached is bigger and doesn't collapse as small as before. And I wish there was some kind of detent or latch keeping the wheelie bars in the swung out position. If they get knocked sideways the cart can loosen. Much better than the original wheelie bars though I really like them!

The new speedlock system is great. It was easy to install - took me less than 30 minutes to remove the old parts and install the new. Glad to be rid of the old wheelie bars and clamping system with the rubber pads that were constantly wearing out. This new system is so much easier and faster to get ready and go.

Love the ease of use and functionality of the final assembly but putting it together was a real bear, Instructions could be so much clearer. I am very handy and it took at least an hour longer due to them not explaining things well. I needed to do items 2 times. Also the screws they use to attaché the bars to axle (set screws) are flimsy and may strip. I needed to replace wheelie bar assembly due to defective version I got. 2 videos attached show why. I still gave it 4 stars because I love how easy it is to put together and break down.

Wow! Congrats to Alphard for continueing to look at howm to make the V=2 even better. This is an awesome upgrade that makes it super easy to load and unload before abd after rounds of golf. My Back thanks you as well!

Installation took me about 30-45 minutes. I initially put the wrong stop on. Fast assembly of cart at the course. WELL WORTH IT. In fact, one friend has ordered 2, and I'll give him a hand putting them together.

The installation hardware-nuts, bolts, washers, etc-were all loose in the box. Evidently the bag holding the hardware failed. Thankfully I found all the little pieces. Installation was easy and the end result is great. Setting up and taking down the V2 is much easier and the unit looks very clean. Good job.

Here's the revised version with your additional edits: --- **Major Improvement with Minor Frustrations** This upgrade significantly simplifies attaching wheels and motor to the frame. What previously required multiple steps has been streamlined to simply placing the frame on the axle and swinging out 2 wheels before heading to the first tee. However, several issues prevent a five-star rating: 1. Poor packaging security - my hardware bag had opened during shipping, resulting in missing small screws and washers that had fallen out of the box. 2. Unclear instructions - the directions could be much more clear for those that own the V2 carts. 3. Hardware concerns - while I had enough pieces to complete the conversion despite missing parts, the included small screws for attaching components to the axle were oversized and difficult to install. 4. Storage incompatibility - after retrofitting, the wheel/axle assembly no longer fits in my Alphard storage/carry bag, which is particularly frustrating. Perhaps they could have warned or cautioned me before I purchased that it would no longer fit in the carry bag. This modification would earn six stars if Alphard secured packaging properly, enhanced instructions, and ensured appropriately sized hardware. Worth noting: I retrofitted an Alphard V2 cart. Despite these shortcomings, I still recommend the upgrade for its core functionality improvements.​​​​​​​​

Patience and finding all the parts (eventually) paid off. Now set up is so simple that hands only used to lift up cart to place it on unit and then flip wheelie bars back with feet and good to go. No more getting down on my knees to clamp the unit together and no more bungee cords to keep wheelie bars up off the ground. Glad I got it!

First the good…my V2 is almost 5 years old and though I have loved it from the start this upgrade significantly improved the experience. Set up and tear down had become somewhat tedious and being the only V2 user in my group meant it always took me twice as long as the rest…not anymore! Now the bad, packing was shoddy at best, the hardware bag was ripped (I suspect to replace a part in an already sealed bag given how common this experience was for others) and hardware was scattered about the box with a few pieces missing…took a trip to a couple of local hardware stores to complete assembly which is obviously less than an ideal experience.

Got my order and couldn't wait to install it. However when I opened the undamaged box found parts were loose in the box with the parts bag cut open. Not a good start. Inspected all the parts that I could find and found several key parts missing. I sent an email requesting shipment of missing parts as u should have a complete kit. Luckily I had some hardware that would work but still would like the proper parts shipped. Got it all together and have been using it for two weeks. Not sure about the different size spacers that were sent as it never stated which ones to use for the Alph Cart that I have so I used the shortest set. Seems fine. Except for the hardware issue I love the new biggie wheels. Makes use of the cart setup so much easier and will never forget my wheels at home again

Much easier to attach cart to the axel with the upgraded wheelies! Just rotate the arms to capture axle bracelets. The cart is much quieter on concrete cart paths; I’m the first at my club to have the upgrade. I’ve encouraged others to purchase the upgrade. Only problem was with the instructions. Needed more details to attach the end bracket to the axle's. Will send fotos at a later date.

Must have for the V2 club booster. No longer have to get down and deal with the clamps and wheelies bars.
