My remote suddenly stopped charging on me, even after I performed the suggested reset. I reached out to Customer Service, sent them a video of the issue. Even though my remote was out of warranty they sent me a new one as a sign of good will! Just outstanding customer service and I couldn't be more happy with it. Thank you very much.

Prefer the SK remote over the original remote (buttons are a little more tactile). Lost my first SK remote in the woods. Now I added an AirTag in a brightly-coloured holder for visibility. Now I’m back in business.

This is a replacement remote because the one I had I had lost accidentally in a parking lot and it got picked up, not turned back in. When I ordered a new one it came without the clip, when I emailed them regarding the situation I never got a response from their customer service department.

I play, in West Texas, usually 5 times a week. The skies are not cloudy all day. The LED’s on the remote are very hard to see. I’ve had other golfers check it out, and they have the same problem as me: too hard to see any readings. Also, I lose connection from the remote to the Sidekick more often than I think I should; I feel the vibration and hear the sound, but the cart produces no movement. When all three pieces (the remote, Sidekick, and V2 motor) work correctly, it’s great! When these same three pieces have a failure to communicate, it’s extremely frustrating. The V2 motor is really nice, a good improvement over the V1 (which I had and used until it died). I’ve communicated with Alphard, and they’ve been very quick and pleasant with suggestions. I even received a replacement remote, in case that was the problem. No such luck, this remote is no better.
In conclusion, I’d definitely recommend the V2. I’d definitely NOT recommend the Sidekick; it’s been mostly a waste of money and I’m very disappointed.

This remote is perfect in most all ways. Clip on, digital display for direction, battery life etc. great upgrade over standard remote and especially nice the have the SideKick.
