Want to walk without using a remote?
TFS (Tether Follow Sensor) allows your motorized golf push cart to follow you without a remote! Simply clip and go. The Smart Tether magnetically clips to an included metal belt attachment. It then reads how far you are from your cart as well as your angle of movement and adjusts your cart’s speed and direction to match.
The Smart Tether can be easily attached to your golf bag without hassle and communicates with your Club Booster V2 via Bluetooth. It’s ready to go out of the box, so you don’t have to fuss over setup.
Seamlessly transition between the TFS and remote to get the best of both worlds.
The Magnetic Auto-Follow Smart Tether is reliable and always ready for you. Best of all, there’s zero learning curve.

Got a V2 for Christmas with the tether follow me and it works great. Easy to assemble and pair with remote and the tether. Narrow bridges are a bit of a challenge with the tether but outside of that it works flawlessly. Sometimes I just hold onto the end of the cable to have the cart follow me. The V2 is a terrific product.
Rick W.
Shaq is awesome in customer service. Thank you
Robert C B.
Replaced an older unit that worked great for 5 years. Tether system is easy to operate, works great on all terrain and provides peace of mind. Golf is more enjoyable walking and this system makes walking the course easy.
Karl B.
Makes my walks easier between holes where the path lane is tight.
Christopher M.
Have not had a good chance to use it since it is winter in Indiana. However, I did take it out for a spin around the yard and it worked well. The V2 upgrade was worth it because the cart stays straight on a side hill. No more hitting the remote constantly to keep the cart straight. It also seems faster.
Jack S.
Easy to use once it's paired with the V2. Nice to walk the golf course and know your clubs and cart will follow. Several of my playing partners are also using the system.
john g.
I had $ to spend with my proshop at the end of the season and after upgrading the motherboard to V2, I had to decide between this and the sidekick. A friend with the sidekick did not like it but said someone else in the club had the TFS and likes it, so I got one myself. It works great, no bs. What is also nice is you can switch seamlessly back and forth between it and the remote, no need to change any settings, again, just great. For the price, this is easily the best upgrade you can do.
Sean D.
I was skeptical of the TFS. I ordered it any way hoping it would work. Not only did it work but it worked flawlessly. Not having to use the remote and constantly monitor where the cart is going make golf so much more enjoyable. I don't think I will ever use the remote again. Nice job Alphard.
max s.
haven't used it. just seems awkward to attach to your belt every time ,you start walking, the remote is easy to use and the cart responds well
Ralph B.
Great product.
Louis B.
So far I love it. I’m told by one of the guys who has one already that you need to try and keep it level. I don’t have a way to attach it to my bag waist high?
david k.
It is a great unit. It works well with the Cybercart.
The wire attachment breaks after a few rounds.
I replaced a few units under the warranty.
John M.
I ordered it to use with the new Alphard Cyber cart I ordered and I have not received the cart yet. The new cart was initially promised to arrive mid-August, but has been delayed until mid-September (or beyond..who knows at this point).
Juan R R.
Follow system by pull cable is very antiquated.
The V2 remote could have been used to connect to the teether box via Bluetooth, or just simply have a button for the remote of follow me.
Of course the remote would be place at the cart when putting on the green to prevent from follow onto the green.
Somehow your Research department missed that opportunity to simplify connectivity.
You have a good product, but not a 10.
Bienvenido M.
I'll take photos next thurs as my knees are still swollen, believe me I can't wait to show my cart off
Walter G.
The TFS works great,
Michael M.
Great addition to the club booster V2 at a fantastic price. Ive tested the unit and love it. Golf season starts soon where I live and this gonna make the game better. Alphard golf should look at my clamp system, theres works good but this one locks onto the bag anywhere and holds tight!
PHISITH S.
Three things happened during my only one round of golf trying to learn to use it:
(1) the TFS must be very securely hooked to the buggy, otherwise the V2 would not know how to follow you as you change your walking direction
(2) the magnet is very strong but I lost it when it was pulled too hard by the V2 going in the opposite direction of you and it flew away and detached itself from its cord
(3) without the magnet, and because it not easy to use, I simply cannot use it
Andy P.
After six month, the battery pack was broken.
Is it warranty item?
Michael F.
I bought the Alphard 2 with a tether system. I've payed twice a week for three months. This thing is great. I've always enjoyed walking and this makes it all the better! It performs better than I expected and we play some very hilly courses.
Graham L.
Works great, I have played about ten rounds with it now and only use the remote a couple of times. It follows me across long bridges and narrow gates with no issues. Do not see any reason to get the SideKick
Mark M.
Love it! Works as advertised. Great backup to CB Sidekick when I finally get one. Too bad they discontinued them.
Ronald C.
I grew up walking the golf course and with the V2 and TFS I am back to walking without the hassle or fatigue of carrying a bag or pushing a cart.
Once I got the right brackets with the correct cart the fit was perfect. Adding the TFS unit made walking the course as if you had a caddy. After trying a couple of carts I ended up using a Clickgear cart for the conversion and highly recommend that cart with the use of the V2 and the TFS unit.
I highly recommend these products to however wants to walk the golf course.
Michael B.
I really like having my bag following me, however some days it wants to be on the right side or left side, sometimes I have no idea where it goes, then I use the remote, usually I can move the unit to the right or left and it will follow me. I’ll continue to try and figure it out cause it is nice
David B.
What a great concept, I love it, still learning on how to use it. Friends are jealous.
khalil m.
Game changer! The remote works great but the DFS system lets you focus entirely on the game ⛳️
June T.
Had problems with the old one but works great with the new one.
Thanks
Thomas B.
Using the remote is one of the opportunities but the TFS is also a great feature as well! They are both chargable! You don't hardly feel any pressure using the TFS following you and great for tight areas as it follows you! I have already had other golfers say they really like it - Without hesitation, I highly recommend it!

I used my Alphard V2 E-Wheels for the 1st time this past weekend. I also purchased the TFS tether system. Using the tether really enabled thorough enjoyment of my round as I could enjoy the walk without having to be distracted by managing the cart. The cart followed my path and stopped on the dime. I grew up a caddy and there is a saying which quite frankly, I don't subscribe to...it goes, a good caddy should show up, keep up and shut up. I really felt like I had the caddy experience, just lacking the personality. The E-Wheels and tether system elevated my enjoyment of the game. I had much more energy at the end of my round than manually pushing a cart. That led to a better result on the course.
Thanks for the innovation and enjoyment added to my golf eperience.
Carl A.
I love the way it follow me on the golf course. I use the tether system more than i use the remote.
Michael M.
I absolutely love this unit with the TFS. Go Get one if you want the envy of all that see you. I just hope your game is as good.
Travis H.
Absolutely love this thing! The TFS magnet snapped off me by the first hole and I could not fix without an Allen wrench so I just used the remote. I feel like a larger/stronger magnet would fix that problem but that’s a simple fix I can do myself. This really made golfing a lot more fun and enjoyable. I really felt like a pro out there having my own caddy. Also I get to save on cart fees! My favorite golf purchase so far!
mike d.
Works well
David B.
Bought the V1 in 2018 upgraded to the V2 in 2020. Alex has always been helpfull when i have questions. Will be purchasing the GPS unit when it becomes available. No more tag line
Frank W.
Had a Stewart x10 follow. This system is far easier to use and I am far happier with its performance.
Mark M.
Awesome addition! Great alternative until I get the Sidekick. Just clip it to your belt and enjoy your round with no worries!
Randy G.
Bought the tether as an afterthought. Now couldn't imagine golfing without it. Buy it.
Curtis R.
I've played 5 rounds so far with my new Booster and TFS. It's worked flawlessly. Set-up is easy and quick. I played one of the hillier courses here in Pinehurst yesterday. Hot day, high humidity and I felt great at the end of the round. I would never go back to pushing my ClicGear cart.
Adam D.
If the push cart hits a big bump the entire things shoots uncontrollably off to one direction or another. Has happened multiple time even after update. Will be returning unit & sticking to the controller
hyun l.
So so so so good !!!!
Kevin S.
What’s better than a club booster v2? A v2 with a TFS!
York C.
Product is well designed and I am very happy with their m customer service as the original brackets ordered where incorrect and they sent correct ones very promptly without me have to jump thru any hoops.
My only long term concerns will be the performance on wet grass and going up hills as the tire tread depth seems very shallow as new.
Blake T.
Really enjoyed using it. Made it were I could check yardage book more efficiently while walking preparing for next shot
Almeric A.
I had bat caddy , and this one is 100 times better especially with TFS option , much more enjoyable to walk
Peter H.
I am overall quite happy with it; definitely better than relying exclusively on the remote. One problem is the magnet for the tether will disconnect from the belt plate at least once or twice a round. Not a huge deal, I just go back and get it, but I don’t understand why it happens.
Robert B.
This is a must! It is so great!
Alec F.
I purchased the Alphard Club Booster V2 with the Omni Cart and TFS. Assembly was easy and I had everything operational in 30 minutes. Once assembled I can breakdown and put together in minutes. Due to still being winter here, I have only been able to test out in my yard which is large enough with several steep slopes. I was very impressed with the TFS and Cart maneuverability. I am anxious to get on to the course and get my season going!
David G.
The TFS add-on makes the V2 one of the geekiest (in a cool way) golf setups in the universe. Having the tether control and walking the fairways I almost feel useless, like I should be doing something with my hands! After just a few rounds you know the exact limitations (very few) like steep hills and super narrow entries/exits. At those times you'll need to guide the cart manually with the gyro turned off. Super simple! It's a bit pricey for this add-on but it is a real game-changer.
Mike S.
Awesome products all across the board. My cart is now like a 4 wheel drive R2-D2. Hands are opened up for cigars and IPAs.
Gregory T.
I have played six or seven rounds of golf using the tether follow sensor. I like the hands free aspect of the TFS as well as the security of knowing my cart is with me. Also I like the fact that I can activate the keypad lock on the remote and put the remote in my pocket and it does not disable the TFS.
One concern: My Sun Mountain cart tends to have a slight left or right hand bias at times which means using the remote requires constant adjustment I walked down fairways. The TFS compensates for this bias when on flat or low degree slopes. On a couple of occasions the TFS has gotten away from me on steeper slopes. Fortunately, I watched the Alphard "Center Position Recalibration" video on their website, because on my TFS lost its way twice now. The recalibration is simple and worked immediately.
So far on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being excellent, I would give the TFS a 6.5. I has been great on the cold days I have played this December. The future can always a new surprise, but so far, I am pleased with the TFS.
Marc W.
Works great - except wire loop holding magnet came loose and magnet flew off on third time using the TFS. Fortunately after searching the ground around my cart, I found the magnet. Two of my playing partners also have TFS and told me they had same issue. Apparently the small Allen screw tends to work itself loose. My partners think they solved the problem by using loc-tite to secure the screw. I have done the same. Will see if it holds.
Vernon S.
Between the Alphard V2 and the remote tether, this was the best investment I have ever made.
Andrew L.
Only used it once but really liked it. I think it will turn better if I can get the rotating front wheel adapter that is currently not available
Derick W.
I received the TFS and used it a couple of times so far. I have really enjoyed it overall. It has performed as well as it has been advertised. It certainly frees your hand up from the remote at times though I still use the remote frequently here in sunny Texas to position myself to the side or behind my cart at a pace that allows me to take advantage of my large umbrella. Will probably use it more when the weather cools down and I can put the umbrella away.
Must say it's a good product.
Mickey P.
I use the remote abs the tfs. Really only use the remote on hills and big turns or bridges. Tether works great on about 90 percent of the course.
Sandy T.
I was afraid it wouldn't work with the flexible shorts I wear golfing - no belt. But the clip is very secure and it works great. So much better than the remote alone!!
JoAnn B.
This did not go well....I will stick with the remote. The tfs range was all over the place instead of behind me, almost took out my golf partner at one point. It didn't even respond a couple of times and the second time that happened the magnet broke off of the tether wire. Love my V2booster but not so much the tfs
Shane F.
Extremely happy with my purchase. Couldn’t be happier
Ron B.
Makes my rounds like taking a Sunday walk. No pushing. No buttons. Hands free. Eat a snack. Take a drink. Catch the sights. Love this device. Stays perfectly behind you, even on severe downhill walks. It’ll go up hill also but the cart can flip back on the wheelie bars and that just makes me nervous so I don’t do the steep uphill with the TFS. GREAT Device. Worth every penny. Thanks!
Neil B.
I went the whole hog from V2 on an old Sun Mountain Speed cart using the remote, to a clicgear 4.0 (was able to snag one), installed the conversion kit and bought the TFS. The real game changer is the TFS. It is soooo much nicer to walk truly hands free and be almost worry free about where the bag is. Add in the clicgear conversion and it is a tank almost making the wheelie wheel superfluous.
Richard M.
This product is a must have to go with the Alphard power assist unit. I just played a very hilly course which normally wipes me out but with the TFS I felt like I could go another 18. You just walk at your own pace and it follows.
Shane H.
This thing is awesome. Just going for a walk
Bob H.
Fantastic! I both hands free to eat lunch & drink all the while my cart follows me. I like the fact I can use the remote when I'm walking off the green I use the remote to bring the cart to me as I head for the green. Highly recommend the tethering for all V2's.
David T.
Initially very impressed with TFS. Tried TFS on the front 9 of my golf club. Worked great on the flats. Had issues on the hilly parts. Next round, played all 18 holes. Really struggle with TFS on the back 9 which had a lot of hilly terrain. TFS were not able to control the cart. It became a real hassle to navigate the cart with TFS. Went back to the remote. If I could return the TFS, I would.
Robert R.
I am using the TFS and find it to be a total delight. I'm able to enjoy my playing partners more and to be more focused in my golf game all by not having to "drive" the V2
It is a must have for me. The clip for the TFS needs to be tighter or adjustable as until I bound it under my bag strap, it kept coming loose every time I pulled out a club from that slot.
Steve N.
Love the tether, but had to recalibrate on the second time I used it.
Satheesh R.
Great product. I may not use this as much as the remote itself (personal preference) but product works great

WARNING ... WARNING ... WARNING ... DO NOT PURCHASE THE TFS TEATHER IF YOUR PUSHCART HAS A STATIONARY FRONT WHEEL!!!
Using the TFS Tether, my pushcart did not follow right behind me like I saw in the online review videos. It kept taking off to the right of me until it pulled the tether completely from the belt clip and it stopped. After about 10 minutes and multiple failures, I put it away. When I got home, I went back and re-watched the online review videos and noticed something. The tether was only being reviewed installed on a pushcart with a front swivel wheel. It is clear that the stationary front wheel on my cart is hindering full mobility of operation, which is also an issue to a lesser degree with just using the remote. Furthermore, Alphard created and sells a swivel unit for Clicgear pushcarts? Why would they have needed to do that if the unit works perfectly on all of the pushcarts that they sell adaptor kits for?
I would try to return it but the Alphard return policy makes it perfectly clear that the item must be unused and in the original packaging, untouched. How would you ever know if it works without taking it out of the package and at least using it once (which is my situation)? If your pushcart has a stationary wheel, DON'T PURCHASE THE TFS TETHER!
This review will most likely not be posted because it isn't a positive one. No worries. I will be creating/uploading a YouTube review of the club booster v2, recommended pushcart, tether and return policy details are to follow.
mike s.
Best purchase of the year--I love my new toy. I have been using the remote since I purchased my "V2". About a week ago I got a "TFS". I play every day. The TFS compared to a remote is like comparing a microwave to a stovetop. I now only use the remote to bring the cart to me so I can attach the TFS.
Alan Y.
A must! Not having to worry about where the cart is is an untold blessing. May not seem to be that important, but it is. Just don’t walk too close to the trap unless you like playing in the sand box. It doesn’t follow exactly behind you .
James A.
Had version one for about a year. It was OK but not without its quirks. Upgraded to the V2 with TFS and wheelie bar. After a couple of operator errors…it is awesome…enjoy walking and not pushing a cart. The only thing better than the V2 is the customer service. A very happy golfer…now to lose a couple of strokes
David B.
The magnet has already come off and I can’t get the tether to sync up with the wheels. I wish I didn’t throw away the box so I could return.
Mike N.
without swivel from tires, it does not do turns very well. expected, as my cart has 4 wheels...
and currently, there is no option to convert CaddyTek 4 wheel to 4 wheel with swivel.
Scott F.
Having the cart follow you and not worrying about controlling it with the remote is great!
Lloyd Y.
Add this to any cart with a swivel front wheel and it’s heaven! I don’t think it would have worked as well but with the combo - tfs & swivel wheels - it’s like having your own caddy!!!
Alex A.
the TFS works perfectly and paired w the swivel kit, it makes the cart work much better. i use the remote mostly, but i do see the time when the TFS will come in handy. get it to maximize your Club Booster enjoyment.
Mark K.
I must admit I was hesitant when I received this. The remote was working fine and the course I play is both hilly and a lot of curves between holes. I tried for the first time on May 8th and I am more than sold. It makes it like taking a walk on a golf course with nothing else to push or even guide with a remote. A must have if you've got the V-2.
John H.
Was a little reticent about the TSF, but thought I'd give it a try as it's literally the only product from Alphard that I didn't have. After one use, it's amazing. You don't even notice that it's back there, I have to check periodically to make sure I didn't just walk off without it. Really cool, and keeps me from constantly "driving" with the remote, freeing up a hand for important things (like a cocktail).
john s.
It is super easy to use and extends the batter usage longer then the remote. I use both on the course and love how I have both options.
Dave J.
I like the freedom of having an electric golf cart that I don't have to worry about steering it with a remote all the time. Having the TFS allows me to focus more on my upcoming golf shot while taking in the scenery.
Eldon A.
Makes walking 18 holes possible for a 77 year old duffer.
Damien T.
My wife has yet to try this feature as she has only had 3 rounds with the remote which she loves the ease with which to control her ewheels. She hopes to put it in play during her next round.
Elmer J.
TFS is a great addition.
I had a retraction issue with my unit. About 50% of the time, the tether will not retract causing my cart to keep moving even after I stopped. I'm waiting for resolution from alphard.
Jason W.
It has trouble with steep hills. The wheels turns sharply when walking straight up a hill. Using the control on steep hills works as well expected.
The magnet fell of the holder so now I must hold the string.
Abdon M.
I was a bit skeptical at first...the idea of a physical tether reminded me of my leashed dog. In this case who (or what) was going for a walk? After multiple rounds with the TFS, it has completely changed my perception of how a "remote" cart can function. The TFS is so good that I completed a whole round with just the TFS and no remote (accidentally left at home) and no issues. With the TFS addition, golf for me is truly a nice stroll...golf as it was meant to be.
Martin L.
I was a tester for the V2 and TFS, and I was not sure about the whole "Tethered" part of the follow system. Alex said "just try it". Yep. That's all it took, even with the early test unit, it just took a couple holes and I was sold! Not only are you more sure of where the cart is behind you, but the tether actually makes using it more intuitive. Other systems you have to press stop and go on the remote to have it follow, or use some other method. With the TFS, it is take the tether and it starts following you, and retract and release the tether as you arrive at your shot and go for a club and it stays in place until you want it to go again. The pull from the tether is less than a pound of pressure, you don't feel it pulling against you. It really adds to the enjoyment of playing and walking.
