Installation Troubleshooting
Ran into a snag while swapping your accents? Check the quick fixes below.
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Plastic wheel is tight/hard to remove (Step 1) | The wheel is tightly fitted on the rear wheel pivot/spokes. | Lift the rear wheel pivot for easier removal. Alternatively, use a soft hammer to lightly tap on the spokes to help it slide off. |
| Nyloc nut falls out of the nut cavity (Step 1) | Nut dislodged during removal of the wheel or screws. | Replace the nut, ensuring the nylon ring is facing outside so that the screws can be properly secured during reassembly. |
| Missing plastic tube for new stabilizer (Step 5) | The plastic tube from the original stabilizer was not retained. | Remove and retain the plastic tube from your original stabilizer; it is required for placing the new stabilizers. |
| Motor wheels are not functioning (End of Installation) | The motor wire connectors were not re-connected. | Ensure the motor wire connectors, which were removed in Step 5 for easier stabilizer installation, have been securely re-connected. |
Enjoy the walk.
