Fusion User Guide ver.a
Fusion Power Assist Cart Quick Start Guide
Welcome to the Fusion Innovation Lab. This interim guide keeps the original operating meaning intact, but organizes the instructions into a clearer step-by-step format for setup, first use, and routine handling.
Before You Start
Congratulations on being selected as an official tester for the Fusion Power Assist Cart voluntary testing program by Innovation Lab. Your feedback helps improve performance, usability, and the overall user experience.
How to use this guide
Follow the setup steps in order for your first use. Keep this guide available during unpacking, battery installation, and your first round.
What this guide covers
Unfolding, folding, battery insertion, controller operation, safety reminders, and routine handling after each round.
First Round Checklist
1. Unfold the cart
Open the handle, release the latch, lift the handle fully, then close the latch.
2. Prepare for use
Adjust the handle, secure your golf bag, and insert the battery until it clicks.
3. Power on
Press and hold the battery power button until the flashing red light becomes solid red.
4. Operate the cart
Use the controller to move forward, reduce speed, stop, and reverse when needed.
Unfold the Cart
Place the cart on flat ground before unfolding. Complete each step in sequence.
Open the handle and release the frame
Unscrew the handle knob and unfold the handle to the open position. Then pull the LIFT release latch.
Lift the handle fully
Lift the handle all the way up. The cart will unfold by its own weight as the frame opens into position.
Lock the frame and set the handle height
Close the latch to lock the frame. Adjust the handle to your desired position, then secure the handle by tightening the handle knob.
Mount the golf bag
Place the golf bag on the cart and secure the bag by mounting the silicon strap hole onto the supporter hook.
Insert the battery
Slide the battery onto the rail underneath the central bracket. Press it forward until you hear a click.
Fold the Cart After Use
Clear the cart before folding
Remove the golf bag and clear any accessories. Fold up the bag supporters before folding the frame.
Remove the battery
Remove the battery by pressing the release button above the battery before folding the cart.
Reverse the unfolding process
Lift the folding lock marked LIFT and reverse the unfolding steps. Fold the handle fully forward and close the latch.
Unscrew the handle knob to allow the handle to fold, then tighten the knob again to secure the folded handle.
Battery and Controller Operation
Once the cart is unfolded and the battery is installed, use the battery and controller steps below to begin operation.
Turn on the battery
Press and hold the power button on the battery until the flashing red light becomes a solid red light.
Use the controller buttons
Press the UP arrow to move Fusion forward. There are 10 speeds. Each press of the up arrow increases the speed by one level.
Press the DOWN arrow to reduce the speed by one level with each press.
Press STOP at any speed to stop the cart.
Use reverse only from a stationary position
Press and hold the DOWN arrow while Fusion is stationary to move the cart backward. The cart will stop as soon as the down button is released.
Charge after each round
We recommend removing the battery after each round and charging both the battery and the controller at the end of the round.
Recharge the battery before storing the cart for any extended period when it will not be used.
Important Use Notes
General safety
- Do not overload the cart.
- Keep hands and fingers away from folding joints and moving parts.
- Do not carry passengers or heavy abnormal items.
- Inspect wheels, locks, and frame before each use.
Terrain and weather
- Do not use on excessively steep slopes, or keep hands on the handle when going up a steep slope to help prevent the cart from tipping backward.
- Keep electrical components dry and avoid use in heavy rain.
- Store the cart in a cool, dry place.
- Stop use immediately if abnormal noise or damage occurs.
Prototype component note
Since the testing sample is not a mass production product, some parts are prototypes, including the rear wheel pivot.
Slight deformation could occur after heavy impact during transportation. Avoid placing the cart on its side with weight landing on the wheels, which may also cause deformation of the pivot.
Slight deformation should not affect normal use of the testing sample.
