V2Pro Upgrade Kit

It was a bit complicated to install, but once my husband did it it's been fantastic. So much easier than the older model. Highly recommend!!

These speedloks are a huge improvement over the wheelie bars.

Written instructions and videos could be clearer making the installation process much easier. Also, the wheelie bars doesn’t stay locked in place at times with use. Otherwise, it’s much easier to setup for the course. I would recommend this upgrade.

The upgrade has several benefits: > it makes the process of setup at the course simpler > the wheel unit is more solid-feeling and robust > the wheel bars provide better rearward support. In short, we're glad we upgraded both of wheel units; they have gotten plenty of use at the course. Thanks!

This kit makes it so much easier to connect the cart. I can extend the bars with my foot and it is much more stable than the original anti tip bars. Easy to install. Love it!!

The upgrade kit is truly a real upgrade! The conversion was very easy to accomplish, which was important for someone like me who is not handy when it comes to these things. Much simpler now to set up the cart and to disassemble it at the end of the golf round. Much Improved!!

Best move I make easy. Easy to assemble and store and it seems like my battery lasts longer. I don’t know if that is a coincidence or just happy to have new attachment.

Love the new wheelie bar set up it quiets down the rattle and way faster set up time when I am running a little late for my tee time.

Very nice.

The unit came with all the pieces, and directions you need to replace the wheelie wheels. If you get stuck, there are plenty of online videos. I do agree with other reviews that modification does add a little weight to the V2 unit but I still love the upgrade and simplicity to put the device away.

I was on your website researching replacement part for my original V2 cart and saw the upgrade system. It is a huge improvement and cuts down setup/teardown time. I am totally impressed with the cart, the company, customer service. Thank you for offering parts and upgrades at reasonable prices with quick delivery.

It used to take a long time and was a hassle, but now it’s much faster, so I really like it.

Game changer! Way easier than remembering to put the old wheelie bar wheels in the car and lock them in at the course. Super quiet now too. My buddies sounds like a squeaky wheel when he drives it. He is ordering them also!

Poor. On install, one side does not lock. No response from phone call or email. Now out of service paying for cart fees. VERY frustrating!

Excellent update to the original setup.

One of the locking wheels doesn’t stay locked. I have to kick it back in place every other hole!

The newly designed product to make it possible to finally break the unit down and put it together without a huge struggle is wonderful. That I had to pay for this new part to make the product work without breaking my hand is not.

Just get it! So much better than original setup.

The instructions are not as detailed as could be. On You tube there is a 4 part instructional video that also is not very detailed. It would not be that hard to make a better detailed instructional video.

I finally took the time to install the upgrade kit for my motorized cart ("the robot" ). I found a YouTube video to help clarify the instructions included, as I did with the original cart conversion kit. The project took me longer than expected, as the clamps for the axles were already screwed together, and one was a BEAR to get unscrewed /separated. All of the other parts were easily installed. When it came to putting the clamps on, one went together easily. The BEAR, well, was just that. The holes were slightly off in alignment, which explained why they were so tightly screwed together when it arrived. Since someone at the factory got them together, I figured I should be able to do this, too. It took a lot of adjusting, and starting each of the 4 screws partially until I finally muscled it together. Lots of sweat on this one. Even with that frustration, I am so happy with the result. Putting my cart together takes far less time, and I don't have to worry about putting on/taking off my tip bars anymore. I appreciate your products, as they use existing products and find ways to enhance them. Thank you!

Just love the product! Allows me The freedom to help look for my friends ball and not have to roll my cart near the bushes! I can situate my cart wherever I need to. Best equipment ever!

Need a better instruction for the installation of the unit. Overall, it is a much better improvement from the old clamp assembly. Thanks.

so much quicker to set up and take down than the original set up. plus the wheelie bars stay put and are simple to lock in place. great improvement.

It broke the first time he used it, the extruded aluminum wheelie bars at the pivot stripped out around the main bolt. Wimpy design! I’m a machinist/engineer and came up with a very robust and easy fix, it will never be an issue again. What a shame to wait for an upgrade that for the most part is a significant improvement in set up, but so cheaply made that it is destined to fail.

About an hour to install on Clic Gear 3.5. Works great.

The upgrade was worth the purchase, it’s incredibly so simple and quick to use, from the Aphard carrying bag to the first hole, it’s take minutes, which gives me more time to focus on my swing. Thank you… Rico from Kanata, Ontario, Canada

I am satisfied with my purchase in so much it is a real time saver when getting ready to golf and when I'm finished. The amount of time either bent over putting wheely bars on or adjusting clamps has been greatly reduced. That said the holes on the clamps did not align with the holes on my cart. I tried using "chat messaging" got no response, placed a phone call to customer service; no answer, left message. Again no return call. Finally cut out a small portion of the clamp which worked. I received satisfaction request from customer service and gave them the "dickens". That's when the several emails started coming in. Customer service needs an upgrade! Nearly 2 weeks response time un acceptable.

Fairly complex for me to install. Got it done,though. Second time out the right wheelie bar came off. I might not have had it screwed on tight enough. Quite the better setup experience. Can look at it tomorrow.

I love having to new quick install. My only regrets is the install instructions. I had to learn as I went. Especially to make sure when turning the battery part around. To hold on to it. My wheel came out. And pulled the wires out. Had to take off cover and reconnect wires. It was only turning right. It is so easy to get going from car now.

Upgrade is great once it was installed. It is now MUCH easier to deploy my cart once I arrive at the course and again easier to pack it back up once I complete my round. However, it was not the easiest to install. Even with the videos online it still took me about an hour to convert the old system. With all that said, I would still recommend this kit.

The upgrade kit is great, it makes the setup at the course much quicker and easier. Assembly was not real easy because the videos were not really very good. They didn't explain what we were supposed to do and in what order. Not near as good as the original assembly video was. The assembly instructions were good, just a little difficult to see what you were supposed to do. The other issue I had was I have a clic-gear cart and have added the seat accessory. When I went to put the upgrade kit brackets on the cart frame there was an interference with the seat bracket. So I had to modify the seat bracket to make it work. Not sure if you realized that would be an issue.

This Kit has made set up so much better!!! I love it!!

Hello Honestly, the installation was not as simple. Not only was it not simple, the parts were not made sound. The smallest screws lost its groove while it was being tightened! Can you send me two sets of the smallest screws?

Frame is kinda low and rotation is difficult in deep rough.

Putting it together was a little confusing but the end result made it worth it. I had to wait several months to receive the kit too. Set up is so much faster and easier. Makes the whole thing whisper quiet. Thank you for developing this upgrade!

New upgrade is easy to use and provide a better support on going uphill.

All parts included, assembly straight forward, working as expected. Thank you. Next I’d like an improved controller. The stop button is too close to the forward button. I use the controller with my thumb, probably me, but too many times when maneuvering, I’ve accidentally hit the stop button wanting to speed up.

Very easy to use

Love this upgrade! My clamps were getting screwed up - to loose, too tight, and, getting ready for a round wouldn't work. Always a bit worried when I got to the course. And, I wanted to get the roller wheels as the others were noisy. The upgrade took care of both those concerns. Install was pretty easy. And, getting the unit hooked up and taken off is quick and easy. Highly recommend this upgrade.

The V2Pro Upgrade kit is a welcome improvement to my current Alphard V2 e-wheel and BagBoy Nitro pushcart setup. The time saved and the ease of setup & takedown has made my golf experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Upgrade Kit to any of the V2 e-wheel customers, it is well worth the cost.

The upgrade kit works perfectly. It is very well engineered, super solid and fairly easy to install. Just lay everything out and take your time. It makes using the Alphard so much simpler. Just drop your cart on to the Alphard, open the rear no tip wheels and go.

I have had the upgrade kit installed for about a month now, and so far it has performed excellent.

This team knows their stuff and is looking for ways to make improvements. For example: the V2Pro upgrade is money! Easy, fast and less debris below the unit. Well worth the investment.

I love the upgrade. It makes set up and take down of my cart way faster and easier than before.

Have used the cart with the upgraded clamps and wheelies just once so far , but it is now much easier and faster to set up the cart before golf, and the wheelies now stay in the right position and don't slip down like the original mechanism. Plus the reinforcement brackets may help prevent the axle bars from sagging more, if that is indeed their intent.

The instructions/ pictures could have been a bit clearer on which “stiffener bar” to use, and how they were to be installed.

After loving the Alphard cart to walk with ease on the golf course, the upgrade kit is a game changer. It is SO much easier to do the set up and tear down. It did widen the wheel base so I had to get a bigger bin for the back of my SUV but well worth it. The assembly took some time but again, worth it for the faster, easier to use the wheelie bars getting to the first tee box quicker!

Setting up is so much easier now. This definitely works and I’m enjoying my V2 even more. Directions were clear and easy. It only took me 15min to convert. This is a game changer.

The first issue is the instructions are very poorly written(missing steps, english so bad it effects the assembly process). I know it is a Chinese product which is fine but you could at least use a qualified translator . Second when I had an issue during the assembly it took Alphard 2 weeks to reply,so I had to utilize facebook to find the answer. Thirdly and most importantly when using the product, it easily disengages out on the course. I already notified Alphard, but have not got a response. Very disappointed. What is Alphard going to do about this issue. I have seen on facebook similar complaints

Easy installation, so much sturdier the the old system

The new wheels are a definite improvement. One issue that I’ve had is that the wheels don’t lock when they are pulled out. They tend to drift inward instead of staying straight back.

Tremendous improvement over the original design.

I have an original V1 Club Booster, upgraded to V2. The wheelie bars don't fit completely below the booster, but far enough that the speed lock works great. Much easier to setup than the original clamps and wheelie bars. Highly recommend it.

I really like the results… easy to assemble for playing compared to the previous system. The conversion was more difficult than expected specifically installation or the spacer. Pictures are not worth a thousand words. Also the left wheelie bolt was loose and allowed the wheelie bar to bounce. I tightened the bolt and all seems ok. I hope i did not over tighten. Is there a limit to how tight?

The box can in pieces. All parts scattered. I had to buy stuff to make it right. I am not happy.

When I received the upgrade, the bag holding all the screws and etc. was open and all the parts were just inside the box. Three screws were missing and I had to go to the local hardware store to purchase those.

Two people at the course asked about the v2. You will be getting orders from New Hampshire

I ordered and paid for the conversion kit...at the time of my purchase..I was not informed that it would take 60 days for me to receive it....Im not patient..and would not have ordered it if I had known it would take so long to get it...now..I have it...and love it...

Pros: Convenience of having the anti tip wheels attached You will never forget to attach the anti tip wheels and have to run back to the car. Cons: Makes the motor heavier and harder to lift into and out of the trunk The cost doesn’t justify the convenience unless you are forgetful and in a rush to get to the tee. lol

The upgrade is a must! The new wheelie system makes the cart more stable and actually sets the unit in a better position. The install was fairly simple.

the product cost is/was worth the wait. purchased early at a discounted rate. wait time for product arrival was acceptable. installation is best done sober, took 2 days to install the new mounts. instruction guide with model #'s is/was absolutely critical. used longer spare bolts on 2 of the four mounts bolts (just couldn't get the provided third and fourth bolts to thread). overall great product. love not having to bend over to install wheels or replace rubber gaskets. others golf course members are definitely interested.

A fantastic upgrade. It stiffed up the connection to the cart as well so the power to the wheels seems to be more efficient.

Took a few minutes to figure out how to put on the kit. After that it was pretty straight forward. So much easier to just put the cart on the axle and flip the rollers out than what I used to do. Well worth the upgrade!!!

Love it. Very pleasant upgrade from the previous snap-in brackets. And the cart is so much quieter now without the previous stabilizers rattling.

Fist, package was not great, and some of the nuts were missing (small ones), and I had to use the similar ones to finish the assemble. Speed Lock system is not secured. It is loosen while moving, esp. on the rough road.

Ordered the upgrade kit. Took a while to receive it, but worth the wait. Installation easy, works an looks great.

I love everything about the upgrade kit. Quicker set up and brake down of the cart. Much quieter and no more inserting wheelie bars. Highly recommended. As someone not especially handy, I had to focus on the instructions for proper installation, but I was successful.

The new wheels took a little time, but is well worth the time. Just swing out with foot and you are ready to go!!

Instructions need some revamping for clarity- need to know what washers and nuts need to be used with what cart etc… When unfolding the wheels one day while off the cart I pulled on the wheel to show a friend in the wrong direction and it broke a small piece of plastic off - assuming it was some sort of stopper or something - the wheel still works but that one side can rotate now the incorrect way

Easy to install. (The extra parts, for different brand carts, were a little confusing at first because of how the directions were organized.) Ease of use. No more forcing something open or closed. Significantly reduces set-up time. I would definitely recommend buying these if you have an older model without them!
